Yes, but this is the only film where I can do that, and I do not do it regularly. It has happened probably twice since 1994, where I've watched it and then watched it again. And in total I have probably seen the film 6-8 times. It is not like I dress up as a prisoner and sing along with all the tunes every weekend.

@matwoolf is like a fine bordeaux. It takes a bit to appreciate the legs and the waft, but once you've the trick of it... ;)

Ach well, the ageing brain has conjured up the false picture of when I saw it first. Can't argue with Wikipedia et al. My mistake, Mat.

Just one? - Don't think I could it also depends on what I'm in the mood for.
I like classic movies. But I'm not high brow about it - haven't watched Citizen Kane yet ... but I love -You Can't Take it With You, Murder He Says, Double Indemnity, The Fugitive Kind, Marnie ( of course this leaves off some of my favorite stars. The list could go on and on. )

and oddball types - like Lord Love a Duck, Two for the Road, the Eyes of Laura Mars, The Hill, Lolita.

And 'newer' films - Gal Young 'un, Alice -by Jan Svankmajer & Little Otik , Something Wild, House of Games, Elephant Song.

@peachalulu The Hill is in my top 5. I love that film. Also Citizen Kane is just great, not artsy or pretentious or high-brow, just great.

I have Citizen Kane - I just haven't watched it yet. Which is odd cause I do like Orson Wells. I didn't care much for All the Kings Men and for some reason thought it might be like it. So I avoided it.
Yeah, the Hill is great. I'm not crazy about war movies so I always like when someone has a different take on the subject.

I have not seen that one. And generally I am not keen on war movies too, but sometimes they let you live the life of such men and that is for me, now as a writer speaking, invaluable. But it makes for hard introspection

If I were to pick just one, that'd be Disney's The Beauty and the Beast. :bigoops:

But there are others I've seen multiple times and don't seem to get tired of, e.g. The Big Lebowski, Aliens, and Natural Born Killers. When I was something like 13, I watched The Matrix over and over again. I've seen it like 20 times by now.

Have you watched The Matrix again recently? The endless pseudo-philosophical dialogue actually makes my ears bleed. I find it cringy. Don't get me wrong, I loved it when I was younger. When I was in my early 20s I also watched Fight Club a few times- and same thing with that- if I watch it now, it makes me hide behind the sofa in embarrassment.

Oh yes, I have the same problem with both, the Matrix and Fight Club. I just can't really watch either of them anymore. But I remember renting Fight Club several times and thinking that's some cool shit right there. I have both on DVD now, but I think I've watched them like once.

Any time I find My Cousin Vinny on TV I go out of my way to watch it. The first Jurassic Park is another one.

My knee-jerk reaction is to list all my favorites, but I don't tend to watch movies over again very often. The above two definitely get the most re-watches.
