It was, for the most part. :)
I did notice that. I had similar 50-50 results and wondered if I must be just one big chaotic mess of personality traits, that seems most accurate to me. :p Perhaps wordwizard is the same way.

I noticed your post about it right after I posted my question. :p The part that best described me was the whole, mostly living inside my own head part.

I found this link to be equally or perhaps more helpful than the original link that helps you understand your four-letter combination. It's not as detailed but it has sub-sections such as Personality and Careers, Relationships (Romantic, Familial, and Friendly), and Personal Growth.

I may be getting a little bit too into this thing. :p

Edit: I'm noticing that most of us are introverted (with the exception of yellowm&M, I believe). Not that I'm surprised, but I'm just throwin' that out there. :)

According to the second link I provided, here are possible jobs for my personality type.

    Scientists - especially Physics, Chemistry
    Photographers
    Strategic Planners
    Mathematicians

    University Professors
Computer Programmers, Systems Analysts, Computer Animation and Computer Specialists
    Technical Writers
    Engineers
    Lawyers / Attorneys
    Judges
    Forensic Research
    Forestry and Park Rangers

Bold = Ha. Ha ha. Ha. :p I'm either not smart enough or I veto that career completely. Or both. (And, as far as mathematicians go... is there even a need? I bought my mathematician at the Dollar General, and I have to replace its batteries once every five years or so. :p )

Well some of it is right and some not.

I always thought i have somewhat of a duel personality and this is just one side of it, but i guess it's the dominant one.

I can defiantly say however that i value thinking over emotion, so that at least is dead on.

    I'm an INFP.

    The Idealist/Healer

From the second site, "INFPs are usually talented writers."

    Cool.

The Duty Filler. ISTJs are quiet, serious, responsible, sensible, patient, conservative, loyal and steadfast--maintainers of society's time-honored traditions and institutions.

That didnt sound particularly like me i have to say , so i thought it hadnt really worked. But i noticed i got basically 50-50 for the S/N, which seems about right, and the INTJ profile (The Scientist) seemed to fit me a bit better. So maybe i'm somewhere between those 2.

Woot - standardised personality analytics... I find the results not altogether accurate, but not entirely disagreeable. :p

Can't say I really agree. I agree with the introverted part for sure, but I refuse to see myself as a cold logic robot.

Just to make this clear, in psychology, there is no such thing as an introverted personality type- you are measured in terms of extraversion

personality 'tests', like these are super misleading

I guess it's fairly accurate, but i'd really hate to pigeon hole myself. I like to think there's more to me than what could be judged by some crappy quiz.
