Minds?! You must be related to the noctunomaths, they have 2-7 brains, actually. Smartest creatures in the world You might know one by the name of Doctor Nightingale, he's got a thing for 7's, apparently it's the key to a never ending winning streak when gambling. You guys. Should really read some books by Walter Moers so I don't seem like a nutter. Seriously I dun know what you're talking about mister
Glad everyone's been hanging in their, I'm trying to get an approximate end date for Mars seeing how I've promised half of you not to start till after that. Hopefully it's not going to go on for to long, but either way, can't wait to start.
Glad you joined too! Still no word back on Mars yet, but I promised a few of you to wait till then so I still will. Thanks for the paitients everyone.
I'm moving MARS along so my guess is a weekish before Mars concludes. Just to add Mars is the last in the cyberpunk trilogy. I've ICE to host but we've a few games in waiting before that emerges.
hey dudes and dudettes! i posted my character a while a go but it seems that this is where all the action is happening. everyone had very airy fairy and xen characters so i made mine a little different just to shake things up a bit. it going to be hell to keep up once it starts as there are soooo many characters here. anyone from good ol' Australia playing the game?
This is nothing compared to what Pheonix colony was like. I think that game had like around seventeen characters (all being controlled by someone). I just hope that Chad will be able to keep up with the action.
LOL, glad to see you have faith in me their SD. I'm going to give it my all, but keep in mind I will be able to post everyday but I might not be able to post during my lunch every day, so first thing in the mornings and in the afternoon I'll definatly be on plenty so that is likly when plot advancements will take place. More so in the later afternoon as that will allow more of the group to be invloved with the change. I want this to be a bit like Phenix by the way, so feel free to split into your own little groups if you want, no one says you have to stay with the main group. (hint hint all you chars wanting to be leaders out their.)
ROLL CALL! LOL just wanting to make sure everyone who signed up is willing to wait till it starts. I know I have said repeatedly that it'd start after Mars but it's still got another weekish to wait, if anyone wants to step out thats fine, I'm sure Raven will let someone else take your place. Sorry for the wait all.
No worries, mate! I'm still on board! I was wondering, though, if I should trim down Cassie's age by a year or two...as it stands, next to Skrall, she's pretty well the oldest (except for one or two who match her age)...
LOL, thats fine. Can't wait to get started so you all can start to hate me. But in the mean time I'm going to write up a profile for Drake the head mage.
I was going to join last night but saw that Raven said the game is full. Is there a reason why only 12 players are allowed in this RPG?
LOL, I belive their are several reasons why the sites rules 12 the max. First of, GMs have to try and control the game and the more people playing the crazier it gets, and the more people who don't sit on the comp all day have to read to catch up. (I.E. Me when I get back from work) Secondly, RPGs that big steal all of the players leaving none left for other RPGs to use. It'd be rude if a good RPG got overlooked just because another RPG happened to be popular.
The reason I have set the rules to a max of 12 players is for a few reasons first and most important if a game such as Cyberpunk #1 which was very fast paced and very active It is harder to keep up to date especially if your the Games Master and been GM also means you've got to really read through all the posts to keep in up to date with characters going on's. Secondly when there are far too many players many of the gamers get over looked or forgotten about and end up been left out of the loop for the most part or some gamers start but don't return. with a set number like 12 its easier to keep up and theres enough players but not too many. Plus more plyers can sometimes mean more chaos. The fastest RPG game I've ever player was the very first Ryboks rat Pack Game I hosted based on my books. The game donned 22 players and was almost impossible to keep up. I'd log off and come back to pages of pages of action and posts. I restricted the second Rybok game to 14 players but found it harder to keep up because again it was too many. After that I decided 12 and to be fair 12 was a good number. Hope that helps explain.
