I've only been trying to actively make money from writing for about a month. So far I've made about £16 ($26). I think it will be a looong time before I can quit my day job! Saying that, my day job pays pretty much minimum wage, so if I could match that with writing, I'd probably quit. Its all just a dream for now though.
