I'm not convinced I've ever even heard a Springsteen song, so I wouldn't know if it were better. haha

It's not like I've never heard OF him, I'm just uncertain of his songs. I'm sure I've heard it in passing, or in a movie, but never flat out listened to him.
    -shrugs-

I'm alright. Listening to a really good audiobook. Doing some fill-it-in crosswords (no clues, just words you have to fit into the proper spot based on the number of letters alone), and chatting with the Beau.

~ Sweets, I like Dean Koontz. I think I have almost all of his books. Odd Thomas is a very good one, but my favorite is Midnight. Actually that was the first one I ever read.

    ~ Hello Marina.

Ahh. I just got an audiobook for my trip. It's called Deprivers by Steven Altman.

Hello, CB. Yeah, a lot of people like Koontz. I just could never get my groove w/his books, though. I read/tried to read The Face (I think that's the title) and then later Odd Thomas.

I've only read one other Dean Koontz book I believe and I really Enjoyed it. The Door to Decemeber. I've heard a lot of really great things about the Odd Thomas series and it sounded like something I would like, so I grabbed it. His writing is a little off from what I usually prefer, but you can't have everything you want. The story itself more than makes up for the little things that bother me. I can't wait to listen to the other three and then read the graphic novel prequel. I really love this character. :D

Maybe one of these days I'll give his books another try.

I would suggest either the Odd Thomas Series or Door to Decemeber, and not just because their the only ones I've read. :p Anytime I hear a fan of his talk about which books they consider their favourites, those are the most mentioned. If it's not your forte, however, then it's not your forte. Just as I can't stand reading Stephen King (though I wish I could because I enjoy the stories he tells, his writing just sucks too much for me. lol)

Well said, Sweet. I think we can only go as far with something as we are able to stand it. I am not one for King, though I have tried and tried. I guess this is why there is something for everyone. :)

Well guys, I'm tired and I think I can actually sleep tonight. Have a restful evening.
