I completely agree with this. Oftentimes, you do no good by continually slaving away on a specific section or chapter. More often than not, a break from writing that is spent doing other things will allow your subconscious to continue working through the issue. The same process occurs during sleep. Your subconscious will continue to analyze problems and search for solutions while you're sleeping. Artists do something similar by flipping their canvas. It gives them a different perspective and view of things, and oftentimes allows them to spot errors or inconsistencies which would otherwise go unnoticed if they were to continue looking at it from a stagnant viewpoint. Oftentimes, the best way forward is to step away, ironically.
