Hello, As the title of the thread suggests I am new here, period! I am retired with many thoughts that go swirling around in my head all day. People have suggested that I start writing as a hobby, so I am giving it a try. I am used to writing research papers. This will definitely be something out of my comfort zone. I like writing poetry, am guessing I fit into the "Thriller" genre, and would love to learn to write song lyrics which I don't think should be too far off from poetry. Who knows, though? I 'm ready to give this a try! Hello to all of you out there!
