I can't wait for a map of the sleeping quarters we've been given so I can have my character inspect/examine it before the others arrive.

 

^^ Yeah, the map should be fun and make for some interesting moments!

 

Name: Desmond Monroe
Age: 27
Sex: Male
Occupation: Current captain of the HMS Humility
Personality: Desmond’s brain revolves around plans, both making them and executing them. Because he has (almost) always prepared for anything, he usually remains calm, and as soon as things go as he predicted, he won’t lose his nerve. He is both a leader and a loner. He served under the former captain for nearly a decade, and follows the man’s life motto; Fealty and obedience to all greater; respect for all peers; courtesy to all lesser. Likes to think of himself as a true gentleman.
Description: Average build, 5’10. Straight black hair that nearly touches his shoulders, brown eyes. Usually wears a brown morning coat, white shirt and brown trousers. Is known to wear aviation goggles when flying a smaller airship.
Background: Orphaned at a very young age, Desmond grew up in the care of the military and joined ground personnel at the age of fifteen. Was considered a fast learner and a bright student, who taught himself to read and write, which in turn earned him a spot on the HMS Humility, one of the newer ships in the fleet at that time. Caught the eye of the former captain and quickly rose in rank.

Name: Jake Hendricks
Age: 39
Sex: Male
Occupation: Second-in-command aboard the HMS Humility
Personality: A man of few words. Follows his orders, collects his pay, and does very little with his life. Considered to be one of the most capable officers in the Sahneth fleet. Loyalty as a virtue above all else.
Description: Giant of a man, nearly 6’4. Muscular, although the lack of exercise since he became an officer aboard the Humility has caused him to grow somewhat overweight. Bald, save for a goatee. Dark blue eyes. Wears his uniform with pride. Has the rank of First Lieutenant.
Background: Seventh son of one of the wealthier Sahneth families, Jake’s future was set out for him before he could walk. Joined the military academy at the age of five, and never looked back.

Name: Sara Storer
Age: 22
Sex: Female
Occupation: Chief Technician aboard the HMS Humility
Personality: Impulsive, brash and reckless. More then able to stand her ground, and her outbursts have earned her the nickname ‘Mom’. Is sometimes considered the third-in-command, despite the fact she holds no official military rank.
Description: 5’5, great physical strength despite her appearance. Auburn hair, which she keeps in a single braid on her back and reaches her waist, blue eyes. Pretty face, even if she does not care for appearance; her face is usually covered with some grease or other dirt. Usually wears a grey tank top, grey working trousers and a brown leather tool belt.
Background: Sara has always had a fascination for machine, just like her three older brothers. Considered to be a tomboy, she was always her fathers favorite, and in return he never refused anything she asked for. Was diagnosed with diabetes type 1 at a young age, and is never far from a injector. Is slowly growing blind because of her condition, and has decided to live her life to the fullest until she can no longer safely operate around Materion engines. Joined the Humility on a whim, and had to slap around some crewmen before she was accepted as part of the crew.

Just curious but does this blimp have any form of a toilet? lol Or is this like on TV where characters don't do that kind of stuff?

And no, no TV's. There are toilets, outside of the sleeping quarters. You will have to be escorted by a guard. And stop calling it a blimp It's an airship, not a balloon

Hopefully there's no fighting over who gets what room. Hmm, I hope they don't leave a guard when we go to the bathroom. I'm sure some of us would manage to wander off.

These might be a dumb questions, but do any of the windows in the sleeping quarters open and how big are the windows? Big enough for someone to climb out of?

 

They don't open, and even if they did, they're hardly lage enoug to put yor head trough. They're mainly meant to let light in.

Actually, I have yet to create a character that would want to commit suicide. However, it will work for my next post where I'll show my character inspecting the sleeping quarters trying to figure out if there is anyway to get out and by pass the gaurds.

 

well, there are 3 women. Obviously, one of the three will have to share a room with one of her fellow male captives. I am thinking it is best that Catrin and Danny share a room, being so close and all.

 

You realize he said the beds were bunk beds. So 4 people could be in one room if need be; I'm guessing there will be no men nor boys in the room or rooms the women are in.

 

Duh! lol I missed the bunkbed part, lol. Silly me, lol.

LOL It sounds like a confident female version of Sam. LOL, I bet they would get along pretty well.

 

Danny is probably getting a cramp from standing in Des' office doing nothing for a day.
