How do you "award" a trophy to someone? I searched the profile page, the help files, the forums... I can't find any answers on this. Thanks!
I don't think you can award trophies, not yourself at lest. Some XenForo forums do have trophies listed which are basically achievements but if you click on your trophy points it only shows 3 of them. 14 for member rank 100 for senior 200 for contributor
Hmmmm.... maybe I'm thinking of "likes" - I don't even know how to do that! Let's put it this way - I want to officially give someone kudos for helping me out with something. How do I do that?
I'm guessing the best way is to 'like' their post that specifically helped you out. It's on the bottom right of each post, a bit under where the signature and time stamp is.
Ah! But what if it were a private message? I suppose I could like some random post of theirs (I usually like their posts). Thanks!
Trophies are something you can earn based on criteria. In our case it's the post thresholds that move you from new member to member, member to senior member, and senior to contributing member. It's sort of a trigger point. It can be further utilized but I haven't quite decided if I want to use this feature or just ignore it.
