Before you see my question, please remember the title of this thread. Something is really bugging me and I NEED AN ANSWER. Pretty please? Thanks! Question: Why do some post titles (i.e Stupid Question in Need of Answer) show up on the home page/forums in Bold blue and others not?
A bolded thread means there are new posts since you last viewed that thread. Once the new responses of the thread have been viewed, it becomes unbolded.
thirdwind's answer is right, but I've found that often the site doesn't catch that I've been on the thread, so sometimes the thread is still bolded, even though I've viewed it. That might cause some confusion.
Yeah, the site does that sometimes. One way to (sort of) solve this problem is to click on Forum Actions > Mark Forums Read. This unbolds all threads.
