My story is narrated by a boy who is in front of a crowd telling his parent's love story. I split the chapters into specific events in their lifetime (they've both died by the time he's telling this, except the reader doesn't know that until the end). The thing I'm worried about is that the plot reads more like a bunch of little plots, sure there is character development existent that travels through the whole story, but the individual sections seem to have their own climaxes and conclusions. Are there any concerns with formatting it this way?
Honestly i would be interested in reading that. i like books that make it easy to find stopping points.
This sounds like an interesting story, and while it may pull the reader a bit at first, it can be effective.
