Its been 19 years to the day when the USA came under attack with the destruction of the WTC twin towers and the attack on the Pentagon. RIP to all those who lost their life that day. A big shout out to all the first responders and other front line services who came to the aid of the injured and others.
This had a lot of effects on the direction of my life later on. I was a bit too young when I first reflected on it, but later on I came to a better understanding. It's one of the strongest items that shaped who I am today. Something that I won't forget, and will always respect.
Time heals and dare I say it, we do forget. But re-watching footage of this day reminds us, and it reminds me that it was the single most haunting event I've ever witnessed, and will no doubt remain so till the day I die. I can't watch it even now without shedding tears.
