Hi Everyone, I need some help with the wedding dress description. I want the reader to really feel it, like to the point of tearing up a little. I am truly stuck with the worst writers block ever!! Please help.
It's not so much the actual dress--ice-white satin with fitted, boat-necked bodice, long sleeves embellished to the elbow with tiny buttons, and full circular skirt with demi-train sweeping the floor--it's your teary feelings that are important here. If you describe the dress mostly in terms of your emotional reactions to it, it will be far more meaningful. To explain further, at the moment I don't have any emotional reaction to this picture because I don't care for boat necks and the huge expanse of plain satin is just too much for me, so obviously it's not the features of the dress that are important here to get me to understand how wonderful it is to you.
