Ha. I just had to share this with someone: I'm writing a book on crime, 42,000 words so far. Anyway, I just ctrl+f searched the word "steal," and guess what? I haven't used it at all thus far. I'm not sure whether that's a word-choice accomplishment or a precursor to doom. Or maybe it's just really late right now and I'm finding completely mundane occurrences hilarious. Who knows?
Random thread but ok. And I am constantly using the control f key to find out what I have called charectors that I cannot remember.
lol, emily, you're so cute! You hold down the Ctrl key and push F at the same time. This brings up a little window to "find" certain words or phrases in your document.
I wish I had been informed about this feature sooner. You would think that we would discuss this in "computer class" where all we used was word. *sighs sarcastically*
Yep! Push it and then type in a random word...like "the" or something. It should go down the page and highlight every "the" there is.
SWEET! now I don't have to read through 5 pages of work from yesterday to find the grammar mistake my english teacher/coach pointed out to me..!
