No, it's a serious post. Maybe he means "test thread" in the sense that it's the first thread here

 

That is correct. Certain sections of the Resource center have the capacity for thread creation to discuss the Resource provided by the member. Those threads, though started in the Resource area, appear on the forums's main page and serve as a tie between the two areas. @Steerpike was the first to add a resource in one of the chatable areas. This thread was started to assure the corresponding thread appeared in the appropriate area of the main forum.
