i have an irrational fear of authority. even though i never do anything wrong, i'm afraid i'll be in trouble for something. i have a perfectly rational fear of spiders though - getting bit by poisonous ones will do that to ya.
Bees and wasps. Never been stung and it's going to stay that way. And heights, which is why I'm short.
I have the most irrational fear of being touched. o_0; Seriously, ask anyone who knows me and they can tell you what a slight accidental bump can do to me. I shake and my heart starts racing...and there's a chance I'll have a panic attack. I've never had any bad experiences with being touched either. >:C No abuse or nothing. So it honestly makes no sense to me. But when people touch me in any way, I feel trapped, dirty, and just...ugh. It's not a pleasant feeling. I also used to have a really bad phobia of creative writing as well! But thanks to one of my friends, I'm slowly regaining the confidence to write again! 33 Seriously, once a teacher asked me to write a story, and I had a panic attack so bad my mom had to bring me home. o____x; It was awful! Though that one was rational in my head, though now I think about it from a more stable perspective, it was also rather irrational.
Daddy long legs... I dont mind the other leggy creatures, but daddy long legs freak me out. And yogurt. >_>
Spiders definitely. And calling people on the phone. Seriously lol. I'm perfectly fine talking to a total stranger on the street, but calling anyone I'm not close to... noooooo can do. Dx
clowns... I freak out major time and spiders. I have the most shameful and hilarious spider dance... I am alright with stories, pictures, toys and all that now and kind of with movies, but a clown in person and I would seriously die in pure fear!!!
Clowns again. I can't stand the sight of them I fear them so. I'm also scared of dogs, I'm good with large dogs, and even the smaller dogs, but medium sized dogs, I really don't like them. Though it's odd, I love wolves... weird.
Does paranoia count? xD When I was younger I used to be paranoid that people in pictures could actually see me lol.
Sorry, but it is always nice to know someone else is scared of them And I have developed a fear of some children in the area... they are too friendly and seem to be multiplying every day... <runs and hides under her rock and cries silently in hope they don't hear her crying and leave her alone in the only safe haven she has left>
To echo some people above, I am terrified of spiders. It's tough to talk about irrational FEARS, because I have a lot of "pet peeves" but not too many fears. One thing unique I guess is that I am terrified of fraternity houses. As an RA for Ohio State I have worked with many fraternity men and been to fraternity functions, so its not the organization that freaks me out. In short, seeing greek letters on the front of a house just really makes my heart begin to race.
Bugs of any kind. I hate them. They creep me out. Another stupid fear is any kind of nudity with anyone else. lol So no skinny dipping parties for me. Let's see, another irrational fear, geez, I fear just about everything sometimes. I think I have pentaphobia(SP?). Do you think I have pentaphobia? THAT'S IT! AHHHHH! Just scared myself again.
Maybe if you bake them some cookies with laxatives in them they'll stop coming around. Or set their bikes on fire and tell them it was Satan. Or Jesus... the Mexican gardener across the street. Whichever freaks them out more.
