Thanks to Marching Band, this has been the first summer ever where I haven't at some point gotten really bored and wanted to go back to school. Boy, band keeps ya busy. And EF: Why yes, I'm at the bottom of the food chain, but that doesn't mean I can't do it awesomely. I fight against the mounting forces of hostile OPs (Older People), yet I am still rockin'. Hence: Froshy pride.
School started on the 12th for my 7 yr old. I start on the 2nd. I'm officially a sophomore too (in college) even though I've been back in school for 3 yrs. (Part time) I have 4 biology classes left and then I can petition to get into a 2 yr nursing program. (Wait list is an additional 2 yrs) So I have at least 5 years left of a 3 year program. Cripes!!!!
At one of my old highschools We started at 7.45am and in year 12, I had a class four times a week at 7am it was really crap lol
Psh. You complain about that? I'm taking seven courses this year. So I start at 7 and go till 3, and then I work afterwards. (At least I start on the 4th on next month!) And Ivan, just like your name, you're pretty crazy. =P
I started school last week. I am totally swamped. I have classes back to back without a break. I am living of the snacks my mom bought me because I don't have any time to actually eat.
What other kind of classes are there? Unless your school usually has like a half-hour break between periods...which I've never heard of.
Well I am in an independent charter school. Last year with the way my classes were set up I had one hour break before another class started, that was my lunch time. And a thirty-minute break in the morning. So yeah.
I started high school today. The school part was OK, although after three months of relaxation, it was pretty depressing. The bus rides aren't fun (they are too long and seem to be a cesspool of the entire school systems biggest jerks ) but I think I'll adjust. I've got to get up at 5:30 now, which is a big change from sleeping in until 9.
Yeah, I really hate bussing. I haven't done it in years, except for field trips and whatnot, and those have been some very un-fun occasions. That's why I'm blessed to live less than a mile from my school. I intend to walk or bike whenever possible.
Had my first day today. It was really different, 'cause part of our building is under construction. Overall, it wasn't too bad, but I'm just not ready for homework and projects again...
Marching Band camp is the best. I wish I could do it all year long. And out of all the mysteries in the world, the only one I would find true contentment out of knowing: why do they abbreviate freshmen as FROSH? and why is there no suitable abbreviation for the word 'abbreviation?' And why is the word palindrome NOT a palindrome? sigh ... I start school thursday. But I have very desirable teachers this year, so all will be well.
I start school in a week. How lovely. I'll be a senior though, so I suppose I can handle one more year of torture. ;]
I started back yesterday... two days in and I'm already tired. Not to mention this seriously screws with my writing.... I'm gonna make friends with the librarian and see if I can't hide out in there during lunch. Yeah, I'm a junior in high school... so I only have two more years left. Then on to college!!
My term officially starts on September 1, but my job doesn't start until the second week. It will be fun dealing with all the scared little freshmen who enter my class wondering what their Foreign Devil Oral English teacher is going to be like. Being a teacher can be fun if you're cruel enough.
Damn, started school today. Here in Obregon, many students are sent to schools in english-speaking countries so that they can master it (Wisconsin, Dublin, Canada, Anaheim). My friends are back, so that's the only good thing
i hate the bus too!! thankfully this year i'm only a few minutes walk from school I'm another freshman, i start in a week....bye bye summmer not to mention i have absolutley no clue how im gonna find my classes and get there ontime, i have toured the school and im still confused....well i should (hopefully) be able to figure it all out
I start in a week; I've never been this excited for school. I want to learn, though I'd rather do it without all of the jerks and annoying people.
Yeah, I'm feeling that too. I'm having this class... What was it called? Oh, yeah. Humanities. In other words: World Culture.
I start on september 16th, and I'm not really looking forward to it. Don't get me wrong, I wanna learn too. Just not what my school teaches except for some particular things.
