I played this with my friends yesterday, and thought it would be funny to do here with all of you too! Basic instructions: -Answer the previous "Would You Rather" question -Think up and post a new one for the next person! (Be creative! ) I'll start... Would you rather be fluent in all languages or be able to play every musical instrument? ADDITIONAL RULE: No member may post more than twice in the same 20-post page.
All languages. Most instruments can be learned relatively easily. Learning languages (then being fluent with them as well) takes considerably more effort and is more rewarding. Would you rather: Never see your home nation again, or be permanently confined to your home nation (including vacations)?
Completely blind. I can still write either way, but I couldn't live without music. Would you rather: Time travel to the future or the past?
Time travel to the past as i have a passion for history and would love to go back to the ancient times or the times of the Romans and Greeks. Also seeing the future can corrupt people whilst seeing the past can help people learn and develop their knowledge. Would you rather: be-able to fly or be-able to teleport?
teleport - saves time and helps me get into otherwise restricted areas eg bank vaults Would you rather be permanently celibate or only have bad relationships?
Celibate...too many bad experiences with bad relationships. Though the one I am with now it is the best. Would you rather eat a tablespoon of salt or a tablespoon of pepper?
salt: it's not as liable to burn or make me sneeze uncontrollably. Would you rather find true love, or get a dream job?
find true love - i have no illusions of getting my dream job Would you rather be a paintbrush or a shot of penicilin (something from a personality quiz i heard years ago)
Die Trying...you never know what is on the other side. Would you rather fly to outer space or dive into the depths of the unknown 10,000 leagues under the sea.
Fly to outer space, because that seems like the ultimate freedom rather than going under water. Would you rather stay forever young (say in your twenties) or get old gracefully?
I don't know! I'll say forever young, because I'm frightened of growing old. Would you rather always be playing a violin when you walk, or always be playing bongos when you sit down?
tough one. I am a drummer so bongos it is. Guess I can type standing or lying down. Playoffs inspired: would you rather get hit in the face by a hockey puck or someone you love
Climb the Appalachian Trail. Would you rather have bamboo slipped under your nails and slapped off, or would you rather put toothpicks in your toe nails and kick a door?
Have bamboo slipped under my nails and slapped off, because i the other one creates a painful image. I cant bear to imagine my toes being stabbed by toothpicks....painful. Would you rather; win an Olympic Gold Medal or write a best seller and number 1 ranked novel?
Ugh, that's a toughie. I pick hearing though, because I need my eyeballs to write. Would you rather be captured by North Koreans or Islamic terrorists?
Hmmm, maybe the terrorists. I'm more familiar with Islam than with Juche. Maybe I could get away with "converting". Would you rather eat meat-flavored poop, or poop-flavored meat? Assuming both were edible/wouldn't kill you. Yeah, it should be in the next Saw movie, I know.
Poop flavored meat. Would you rather have your entire web browsing history displayed on the front page of the NY Times, or walk the NY Marathon naked.
browser history, easy one for me, im not that wierd would you rather be immortal and never be noticed or die doing something people will always remember.
Immortal and never be noticed. I can play things from the shadows. Would you rather be able to turn invisible or fly?
Invisible! Easier to fight bad people while invisible, you can still shoot at someone who flies! Would you rather be wealthy for the rest of your life, or would you rather be happy for the rest of you life?
If they're mutually exclusive (I.e. "you can be wealthy but not happy and vice versa"), I'd choose happiness. If not, I'd choose wealth, because although you can't buy happiness, money can at least be conducive. Would you rather have a fun, poor paying job, or a well paying but painfully boring job?
