Glad to be here - figured it was time for some back and forth of more in-depth ideas than gotten on non-writing sites. Though I've been quite successful at three completely different types of professions, I recently realized that although none of them have been writing, I most consider myself a writer! The human mind is an awesome thing, and historically no other profession has so influenced people. We're read more than Einstein and listened to more than the loudest soap boxer. Writers can choose which parts of peoples’ minds (and our own) to direct, encourage, inveigle, force, edify, enthrall, enhance and otherwise control; constructively or destructively. That’s an awesome power and responsibility. Looking forward to getting to know many here, and helping out as much as I expect to be helped.
