Defenders of the earth Starcom starfleet remember the big red robot. Terra - Hawks Stingray Captain Scarlette The whole era was the best. Nothing will ever replace those 10 wonderful years. Born in the 70s grow up in the 80s ~Raven.
I still remember more from the 90's than I do from the 80's. I wonder why that is? It goes without saying though that the music was better in the 80's. One of my ringtones is the 'Airwolf' theme and another is the theme from 'Chips' (not ones I use though). Oh dear, please don't tell anyone.
Well that has just taken me back down memory lane lol. and although I was only born in 84, I still remember most of those things you have mentioned Raven. I loved the 6 years I got to enjoy back in the 80's, they should have continued for a bit longer though. I guess the 80's stuff kinda stuck around my house for a few years longer as one of my sisters had a lot of obssessions with music and so forth from the 80's. ~Torana
Like Sayso I remember more of the nineties, and I was born in 81. For some reason I just didn't care about the outside world until I was 11.
Who's that!!!! lmao But there were so many Candy songs out there! I only liked one and I get irritated cause that's my name!!!
DB here is a link to T'Pau, it should give you an idea on them lol, I remember them, they aren't bad actually. Haven't listened to them since I was 13 though. http://www.80smusiclyrics.com/artists/tpau.htm ~Torana
I looked up the group for Dropbear, was easier than me telling her myself. Searched with ninemsn search I think it is. ~Torana
lol Cher was the 80's as was 1927, Bangles, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and one of my favourites Offspring. ~Torana
Yeah, but nearly every show and music now is a fad. There are heaps of bands and singers that lasted for ages in the eighties unlike todays's where your lucky to last past one single.
Very true. Bands like status que and iron maiden still dominate and even david bowie still dish ot a good track and of course bruse springsteen. I liked the 80s music better than the 90s meat loaf still dishes out those good albums. The 90s never had any of that and the stuff of today is no way as classic as those days. I used to liove watching Night Rider they don't make them like that. and street hawk it did one series but is so remembered and then there is Mcgyver come on remember Mcgyver those shows are long since gone now.
Yeah I have to agree with you Night Haunter, nothing is quite as good as the old ones. And yes I remember McGyver, wow that does bring back memories lol, I loved that show so much, hardly missed and episode, he was my first crush hahahahaha I was a little girl so yeah lol ~Torana
Oh McGyver! He was the best, give him a straw, bubblegum and a toothpick and he manages to steal the day. I wish I was that smart! Oh and Meatloaf just re-releases Bat out of hell! I hear he's releasing a fourth version!
Nope he did release Bat Out Of Hell 3 and i have to say its a brilliant album. But c'mon Meat Loaf has done many other albums yet like garry Numan who only gets remembered for Cars when he's done some far better songs. Meat Loaf seems to have the stigma of been remembered for Bat Out Of Hell. Damn Gfine album too.
