Outline example.

Hello,
Can anyone show me an example of an outline? I searched, but most of the examples that I found are not OK for me. I need something like one page outline.

Look on google for a 1 page synopsis of a popular book. Spark notes often have a 1 page synopsis

What is your opinion about https://examples.yourdictionary.com/reference/examples/plot-of-a-story-examples.html ? To be honest, I don't know what is the usage of an outline! Is this an outline of the story in which the characters and events of the story are summarized and generalized?

 

I would say that an outline is like the author's personal map that can be as vague or as detailed as you like. It's used to help the author plan out the sequence of events. It can be a one page or it can be 200 pages. The link you offered is a very basic break-down of all fiction stories. Outlines are useful to some and pointless to others.

Yes. It can help you to pace the novel and work out events before you get there so you don't box yourself in and have no where to go.
