I suppose I'm more than a bit slow. I only just realized that Barnes and Noble has a NOOK app for reading e-books that are in the ePub format. Makes sense -- I knew that Amazon has a Kindle reader app, so why wouldn't] B&N have a NOOK app? So I downloaded and installed the app on my Windows 10 desktop computer. SHEESH! Maybe I missed something that's blatantly obvious, but the app opened in full-screen mode (I hate it when programs do that), doesn't appear to offer any option to switch to a windowed mode -- and doesn't appear to offer any way to exit the app! I had to open Windows Task Manager to kill it, after which I uninstalled it. In the brief time I had it open, it also appeared that there is no way the app can be used to open and read any ePub files that I already have on my computer. Not helpful. I guess I'll stick with Cool Reader and Sumatra. I should have read the reviews before I installed the app: https://www.consumeraffairs.com/online/nook.html
