Hi everyone, I'm not exactly a new writer, but I'm not experienced either. I used to write a great deal years ago, but real life interfered. I got married, had kids, got a career, the works. Now, twenty years later I find that I have the itch again, yet when I sit down to write, nothing happens. It is irksome. I've come here to limber up my brain, to work out the kinks by reading and attempting to critique other's work. Trying to schedule some time to grab a few writing prompts and maybe even offering up some of my initial attempts for consideration. Hopefully I will be able to knock away some of the rust that has gathered and the words will flow again.
