Unable to Post / Internal Server Error

I keep trying to reply to this thread:

But I keep getting an error. I tried on the computer, on my iPhone, nothing. What can I do?

 

Through trial-and-error Igot it to post, but only because I removed the [QUOTE ] tags from the person I was responding to. Must have something to do with quoting another member, I don't know.

 

Where there any smileys in the portion you were quoting in your response?

 

No, no smilies, but the OP did use square brackets instead of parentheses.

 

I had the same problem with trying to quote another member a couple of days ago, and when I removed the quote tags it posted fine. Not sure why.

Parenthesis don't work as BB tag indicators as you can see above. I've only ever seen square brackets. Ever. Not saying that the quote didn't have something to do with it. It may well have, but square brackets for BB code is standard.

Again, it may be nothing, but something in the quote block is causing the error. [beyond my paygrade] []
