Hey, my name is shesbona I've been working on a story for about 3 years now that revolves around a gentleman who wants to be a well-respect warrior in this village in the Amazon rainforest. I'm looking for a community of like-minded people who also love to write. I also like to create art and animations for my story
This being a forum of writers, we all love to write! Welcome to WF! I see you have alreadyposted a question, which I have responded to. I'm sure you'll enjoy it here - remember, the more you put in, the more you'll get out of it!
Welcome Shesbona. I like the warrior genre, especially when it is more about the warrior than the war.
Thank you! Same to you Thank you! Yesss, often time when I read about history, we are told about the battles and the victors and losers, but we never really hear what goes on in the heads of these leaders and what inspired them to take on such a role. This is what I wanted to explore in my writings
Thank you! And there's a lot of things that inspired me to write this but one big inspiration was how in real life, there was this kid in school who seemed like everything always went his way and who I saw as my competiton. I wanted to combine that with the very undertold aspect of history of how tribes in South America would accept runaway slaves (something in my story).
You're welcome. And I understand that and it's interesting thing to draw inspiration from. Maybe he'll read this book one day. And oh, didn't know that! That's cool. How many runaway slaves did they save?
No one knows for sure but we can conclude that it was a lot due to extensive mixing. There are communities of mixed race people in South America who are descendants of the local tribes and runaways because they are black but they speak a Native American langauge called Garifuna.
