I don't like him. I've never really liked him. He's the nicest man you could meet, and I met him when my father played against him in an exhibition in Armagh about fifteen years ago. My father was the only man to take a leg off Taylor that night. An amazing achievement that earned him Taylor's darts. That being said, what the man has achieved in the world of darts over the past fifteen or twenty years is nothing short of astonishing. And tonight he rewrote the record books. A three-dart average of 110.14 over the course of eight legs -- the greatest average ever in a final in the history of the PDC. Add to that six, live, televised nine-darters, fourteen world titles, and the record for the highest average ever recorded on TV: 113.39. There's only one Phil Taylor.
