This topic may have been posted before, but I just wanted to put mine up. (I like a lot of rock and roll from the 70s and 80s. which explains some of the contents of the below list: ) The Beatles The Rolling Stones Aerosmith Electric Light Orchestra Billy Joel Fleetwood Mac Bruce Springsteen Queen Chicago Steppenwolf Pink Floyd The Blues Brothers Sly and the Family Stone ABBA Three Dog Night Other bands I like who have been producing more recently are: Jimmy Buffett They Might Be Giants Barenaked Ladies OK Go Gorillaz Santana Train Dixie Chicks (Yes, it's true >.>) Little Feat I'll probably add more bands later. In the meantime, make sure to post your own favorites and discuss other's choices (but keep it friendly)!
Incubus Staind Wolfmother is pretty cool... um Michael Buble? I like pretty much everything except the mindless screaming of crap that cannot be understood. Jazz, swing and classical I do listen too and like cause it relaxes me. I only listen to it on occasion, just like pop music. But Rock and a little heavy stuff is okay by me!
My list will go on for a while... My Chemical Romance 30 Seconds to Mars Papa Roach Nickelback Theory of a Deadman 3 Doors Down Lifehouse Hinder Creed Evanescence Seether Avril Lavigne (ya...sue me) Kelly Clarkson Chris Daughtry Josh Groban Celtic Woman Shinedown Panic! At the Disco The All-American Rejects The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus Crossfade Cartel The Calling Three Days Grace Avenged Sevenfold Within Temptation Fall Out Boy Green Day 12 Stones RED Staind Trapt Fuel There's probably more, knowing me, but right now that's all I have for y'all.

Favourite bands/artists: Nine Inch Nails Depeche Mode The Cure Aphex Twin Prodigy David Bowie Ultraviolence Madonna Human League Chemical Brothers Pink Floyd Metallica Gary Numan Black Sabbath/Ozzy Osbourne The Beatles (roughly speaking the ones at the top are the ones I like most, but those lower down than David Bowie are pretty much in random order)
KoRn System of a Down Staind Red Hot Chilli Peppers Bloodhound Gang Seether Evanescence Disturbed Nightwish Rob Zombie Slipknot Metallica Kidney Thieves Tupac Queen Elton John The Divinyles lol, oh how I loved her, playing her songs on my hardcore cd walkman when I was 14. Despite the time that has passed, I still like her.
I like a wide variety. I can't listen to a bunch of stuff that just sounds the same. Some of my favorites: Jimmy Eat World Aerosmith Mindless Self Indulgence Faith No More Burden Brothers Tool Queen Jeff Buckley Tomahawk The Goo Goo Dolls Mr. Bungle Toadies REM Sufjan Stevens The Dillinger Escape Plan Deftones Lynyrd Skynyrd I make a lot of mix CDs, because it's very rare that I'm in the mood to listen to an entire album from one band. One of the reasons I like Mike Patton and his projects so much (that's Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Tomahawk, and several more that I haven't listed) is that he incorporates so many different music styles and influences into his music.
I like a lot of artists belonging to a lot of different genres... here goes: Aerosmith(the big love of my life) Red Hot Chili Peppers The Rolling Stones Queen Guns 'n Roses REM Placebo The Strokes The Libertines Babyshambles The Cardigans Spoon(a few of their songs) Damien Rice Air Bliss Gotan Project Bebel Gilberto Beck Rodriguez Texas Smoke City Lamb Hooverphonic ... and more.
I'd end up stir-crazy if I couldn't listen to music every day. Here are some of my favs: Radiohead The Beatles Pink Floyd Bob Marley David Bowie The Pixies REM Blur Talking Heads Stevie Wonder Lou Reed UB40 Kasabian Ocean Colour Scene Goldfrapp Marvin Gaye The Verve U2 The Kinks Kaiser Chiefs The Rolling Stones Muse Oasis Queen Stereophonics
