Hello guys, I'm Michael, a 23 year old guy from Northern Ireland. I'm glad to finally be posting on this forum a little while after joining up. I've been writing for 4 years now and I'm constantly giving myself new resolutions and things to work on. My one here is to be less of a social shut in, not just in relation to my writing but to life in general, and share myself with like-minded people. I'm a little intimidated to be here. Every forum has regulars and their own ways, so it can be daunting and difficult to make friends. But I'm hoping to make a few writer friends and learn a few things along the way. Hope yall enjoy having me here!
Welcome to the forum, Michael! Knowing this community, I'm quite sure you'll find plenty of friends around here! Firstly, though, take a look at our New Member Guide. It will get you started with the rules and layout of the forum. Have fun!
Thank you. That image came curtesy of Jack Asher, another forum member, one gifted with the art of draw, an art I do not possess. He knew of my interest in images of Ganesh and was the one to see the hidden elephant heads within the Scrivener logo. I've been using Scrivener since it was just a beta and was only for Mac.
It's okay, I'm also artistically challenged. Can't believe you've been using it that long. I've only been aware of the nifty wee program for 8 or so months and can't fathom ever using Word again. I'm the hairy one on the left . The one on the right is my best pal Stephen.
Howdy do, Michael. Welcome to the forums. Pull up a chair, grab a mug of whatever floats your boat, and make yourself at home, mate. Look forward to looking through your apocalyptic web series. Sounds like my thing.
Thanks Mollie, appreciate you taking the time to read it Blogging and publicly sharing stories is very new territory for me, and it's only in the infancy stage but I'm very excited to continue.
