Wow you sound a lot like my stepbrother (he is taking computer programming in university and has a passion for writing). Welcome!
Great to have you! I love your attitude about writing, I'm the same way. The stories/characters get into your head and wont leave untill you do them justice. Just don't try and use that as an excuse as to why you didn't finish your homework...
Hi Justen! Welcome to WF! If you need anything at all - help, questions (or answers), reviews, etc., feel free to PM me!
Hello Justen! Not too sure what to say - you sound so much smarter than me @_@ Hopefully you won't post stuff for a day then ditch like a lotta people do. Everyone's friends with everyone here - join our circle of love!
Yeah, I think me 'n' Kratos are the only ones here who sleep. Seriously, I can get on at any time of the day, and pretty much everyone will be on "Cold Fusion Cycle". Sounds like one of those fancy-shmancy fruit smoothies they sell at pricey health-food restraunts. Or a really cool washing machine. That's not a bad thing, by the way - I like the sound of it.
Hullo Justen, Welcome to the Writing Forums. If you haven't explored the site yet, you should probably do so soon. Newcomers often gravitate to the Lounge, the Word Games, or the Review Room, but there is much more to be discovered if you poke in the corners. Remember to check out our FAQ as well, and be sure to read through the forum rules, too, to avoid any misunderstandings or hurt feelings. Respect for one another is our principal mandate. As for the Review Room, new joiners often wonder why we do things a bit differently on this site than on other writing sites. We emphasize reviewing as a critical writing skill. Training your eye by reviewing other people's work helps you improve your own writing even before you present it for others to see. Therefore, we ask members to review other people's writing before posting work of their own. The Review Room forums on this site, therefore, are true workshops, not just a bulletin board for displaying your work (and on that note, please only post each item for review in one Review Room forum). See this post, Why Write Reviews Before Posting My Work? for more information. Enjoy your stay here, and have fun!
Posting your own work should not be the very first thing you do here. It is really worthwhile to see what other people have done to improve their writing, and see if some of it applies to your writing as well. That is part of why we require members to review other members' work before posting their own. As for spacing between paragraphs, the only way to do that at present ist to post the work by copying from Word and pasting, then manually inserting extra line breaks between paragraphs. Please do not post material for review as attachments or as links to other sites.
Really? I thought it was annoying. I really bug myself - sometimes I wanna kick me in the face, but I'm not flexible enough  There's tons of fun people here, though. Have you met Bick or Rumpole yet?
