hey I'm new! quick things, I'm 20, female, outspoken, a writer( obviously) of poetry and fiction. I'm working on many novels but don't plan to finish them for a long time. I've been a member of 2 writing groups online before. I left one to join another, I left the other due to illness and fighting a good fight alone. But that's dull. I'm from Liverpool in England where the Beatles came from, (I even went to the same schools as John Lennon and have met Yoko Ono a few times.) I live to love and love to live so yeah.. I'll find my way around this place quickly I hope. The review/critique section of the site doesn't seem to be very big but maybe it's just very active.. I only joined 2 hours ago. I think I've rambled on long enough. Call me kal. xx
Hey - Welcome to the site. Sounds like your a rather interesting person. The site's still somewhat new, but hopefully we'll change that and get this place pretty active in the near future.
Welcome! Greeting people probably isn't as bad as you think. Not that I stand around welcoming people or anything.
I just used to run out of things to say in the intro threads, so I would only answer if I could say something worthwhile.
That's my general philosophy on message boards, usually, but sometimes saying something with effusive happiness is worthwhile. Love the avatar, by the way.
Thank you. I do love my redheaded pirate.. even though it's nearer pink. Even writing a book about one, not her.. no real pirate could look that good. I'm learning the ropes here, so far so good.
Hi, fellow scouser! Actually, I don't live in Liverpool anymore but I'm just down the road from there now. You seem to be settling in ok. Hope the site meets your approval!
You follow my signature, very nice. You also sound very familiar, WF.com? And was Yoko Ono interesting? I heard she was bitch. Anyways, Welcome, I'm vaguely new too.
yeah I'm still on WF.com from time to time Sigur. Mercury where did you used to live in liverpool and where's down the road now?
I used to live in Tuebrook. I've been living in the lovely land of Warrington for the past 15 years, though.
Hello, my name is Sarah. I am 22 and from Sheffield. I write the odd short story and scribble nonsense. I'm hoping to get a bit more serious with my writing and am looking for some good criticism and tips etc. Anyway, nice to meet you all.
Mercury that's so strange. My dad used to live in Tuebrook when he first came here, now he works in Warrington.
Yeah, that is a strange coincedence. Still, 'tis a small world, so people keep saying. I moved out of Scouse-land when I was only 15, so I don't really think of myself as a true scouser.
if you dislike manchester for no other reason than it's there you're a true scouser. I'm not scouse, I'm a liverpudlian. grew up in Allerton, in a big house with a pretty big family, not cause we had loads of cash. we just needed the space. But I don't have the scouse accent unless I'm drunk/angry because my parents refused to let me have the stigma of being a girl and being scouse. it's just too much of a ****ty start in life..
I'm no scouser nor Liverapublican but i sure as hell used to love watching carla lanes Bread about the liverpublican Boswell family. (Goddamn it I loved that show.) Good to meet a fellow Brit. You too Mercury. ~Raven.
