Hello, Amateur/hobbyist here. I've actually read a fair amount about the craft of writing but there is no substitute for practice and feedback. And, I'm 41 and have not written a piece of fiction that was read by another since high school. But I have an itch that needs to be scratched. I have a full time job and 3 kids so my efforts are sporadic but I am hoping that have a community can create a good feedback loop. Love reading "Brain Pickings" for inspiration. I'm still exploring the forum and figuring out the landscape here. I hope to start contributing in the near future. Cheers,
