Which Came First? -Game- Example: Which Came First? The Cell Phone OR PONG, the video game Objective: You must be able to guess the (Or you may already know the answer) correct answer. So lets say the person chooses PONG for their answer... then they would be right! (You must post your answer afterwards and put something like... (Optional) Then the person who acquires the correct answer may post another question. (One question at a time please!) Update: You're allowed to use the internet for research. Rules: 1. Obey/Respect Forum Rules/Policies. 2. If you get the correct answer, you may post the next "This OR That" question. (If you get the incorrect answer you are not allowed to post a question, but you can still try to answer the other ones and win a chance to post your own question) 3. Stick with the current question, don't run off and post random ones. (Or else the game won't be fun) 4. Have Fun! I'll go first: McDonalds OR Coca-Cola * If you have any questions... send a PM to Jack (me).
I knew the space program made both. My guess was going to be Tang, but since google is so handy, I know it's Velcro by 16 years. Is that cheating?
It is cheating, yes. So one rap on the knuckles. It's interesting (to me) that both products actually preceded the space program, although it was certainly the moon race that gave them both new purpose. So go ahead and post your Which Came First pair.
So...the space program didn't invent them, they just put them to use? Oh. Cool. Shake N Bake or Easy Bake Oven.
I'd have to say Easy Bake Oven... (I'm pretty sure that Easy Bake Oven came before Shake N Bake) *Hopes I'm correct*
ANSWER: EASY BAKE OVEN--1963! You're right. It beat Shake N Bake into existence by 3 years! Your go Jack.
That was a lucky guess (along with some common sense). This is a tricky question: Smarties OR M&Ms (Yellowm&M should get this question right )
Aww...sorry Emily. The hot air balloon has been around since the early 1700's, possibly even before that. And there were even some early unmanned ones in the chinese dynasties in 2ad. The Bicycle (as far as I can tell) came around in the mid 1800's. I say it's your turn to go anyway.
No prunes. But it was made as a medicine at first. And you are correct. Mr. Pibb was coca cola's attempt to out-do Dr. Pepper.
Gotta be Maine. Right? Isn't that one of the original 13 or something? I never valued history enough in school...
Maine - 3/15/1820 * Louisiana - 4/30/1812 It was a trick question. I figured someone would think it would be an East Coast state first.
