Argon was getting too close to his current love interest, and wouldn't leave her alone when she tried to politely refuse. How did the pet once save the character's life? There was this one time when he had been flat broke for a long while, and was ravenous and... well... What is the one thing in the world your character would do anything to avoid? Why? He would do anything to avoid hurting Adrina Tess, because he loves her, and he knows she's been hurt already. She comes off as being quite tough and callous, but she's much more vulnerable than she'd like anyone to know. I can't exactly say what he's done to avoid hurting her, but I do know of a few times he's lost sight of it. On the night they first kissed, they were both wasted, and the next morning she asked him what he remembered. He was terrified. If he spoke honestly, his sentiments might not be reciprocated, but he couldn't say no in case she really did feel something for him, so he did the best he could under the circumstances, and said "I remember having a poor sense of judgment," true enough, but that's not what she wanted to hear. As soon as he said it, he knew he shouldn't have, but alas it was to late. Another time is when he spoke to her about his addiction to morphine and how difficult it was to kick it, and she offered to help. She did, but they made the mistake of placing her between him and the morphine and when one is going through morphine withdrawal, once tends to lose one's senses. He flung her out of the way, an act that didn't actually hurt her, but scared her. She wasn't afraid of him, but for him. He didn't know this of course, and was horrified at what he'd done. Another time is when she was sucking up to Argon (for circumstantial reasons) and he thought she was cheating on him, that he couldn't trust her and to be fair, she kind of was, there was no way for him to be sure of her limits, and she wasn't considering him at all.
