Hmm, I've always been a Nintendo guy. I think the most fun I've ever had with a video game would have to be Resident Evil 4. Advanced Wars is the best hand-held game, ever. I also loved Banjo Kazooie on the N64.
SNES: Donkey Kong Country (would rival best of all-time - they need to bring out a new version) N64: can't remember GC: Turok Evolution (don't judge me) Wii: Resident Evil 4; Super Paper Mario (Smash Bros. still hasn't arrived in Australia yet...) PS1: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 PS2: can't be bothered thinking PS3: Resistance: Fall of Man; also enjoyed Turok since I'm a fanboi Pokemon rules all hand-held systems. Boo Microsoft.
PS - Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy IX, The Legend of Dragoon PS2 - Final Fantasy XII, Shadow Hearts (Covenant), Guitar Hero (all of them), GTA: Vice City Xbox - Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Fable, Psychonauts, Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, and Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath Xbox 360 - Mass Effect, Gears of War, GTA IV, Assassin's Creed PC - Hmm. Neverwinter Nights (1 & 2), The Sims, and Civilization (2,3, & 4)
Silent Hill 1 and 2 - PS1 and 2. Ace Combat 3, 4, 5 and 0 - PS1 and 2. Dawn of War - PC. I don't play many games.
PS One Final fantasy six, seven and eight. Star ocean (I think that's what it was.) res evil nemisis, silent hill PS 2 Juiced, grand turismo, need for speed underground, need for speed most wanted, final fantasy ten, stuntman, okami, Killzone Xbox grand theft auto vice city, dead or alive, breakdown PC world of warcraft
Don't think i have an all-time individual fave, but i like shooters, rpgs and racing games mostly I played counter-strike addictively for years when i was younger, which I think has sort of erroded my attention span computer-game wise. I've always been a computer nerd, but i get bored of most games before i complete them these days.
Darn, I feel old now - I can name games from the Atari 2600, the Amstrad, the Commodore 64.... Meh - My all time favourites include Sonic 2 and Mortal Kombat on the Megadrive (nether hold up so well now...) PS1 is Metal Gear Solid hands down. Final Fantasy VIII comes close. PS2 I suppose any of the Tekken series, can't decide between the Final Fantasy's, Metal Gear Solid 3 and Shadowhearts: Covenant (that game is beyond description, lol). Please, no one remind me that I don't have a PS3 yet - my friend keeps torturing me with descriptions of how awseome MGS4 is. I have evil friends. DS - Shonen Jump Ultimate Stars.
Wow.. this thread tortures me. I have way too many for everything Nintendo (The original): Kurby Super Nintendo: Super Mario Bros. N64: Zelda: O of T. Mario 64. Super Smash Brothers. I also loved Donkey Kong 64 and Banjo Kazooie 1 and 2. GC: Wasn't a huge fan.. the monkey ball games were kind of fun with my siblings and their friends. PS1: Soul Reaver, FFVII, wasn't huge on Metal Gear.. PS2: Resident Evil 4, Jak and Daxter 1, 2, 3. I love those sappy cartoon adventure games, FFX also. PS3: Lair, Call of Duty 4 Xbox: Halo, Fable, Morrowind, Need for Speed (for kicks) Xbox 360: Oblivion, Rock Band, Guitar Hero, Gears of War, Call of Duty 4 (again). PC: I am all about World of Warcraft... sad but true.
I never passed it either. You had to get like everything in the game to fight the final boss.. drove me crazy! had everything else though. Lovin' me some Tiny.
hahaha.....For My XBox..."Viva Pinata", baby!!! LOL! For My Wii...I just like creating those little people!
I like the Half-Life games above all, but also the older Maxis games, like EL-Fish, SimTower, SimAnt, SimLife, SimFarm, etc. But my top favorite is Half-Life 2. I like all the action and adventure you get when you play through the game. Even knowing what happens (if you've played it like 30 times like me), it's still suspenseful, even if you already expected that headcrab to jump out from behind the boxes.
I love Half-Life 2. Definitely one of the greatest games ever made! Have you ever played Garry's Mod?
I'll do it by genre: Action: Serious Sam, Resident Evil 4, Mafia, Deus Ex, Ninja Gaiden, God of War. Horror: Resident Evil 1 & 2, Silent Hill 2, Fatal Frame, Thief 3. Stealth: The "Splinter Cell" series (especially the 3rd), Thief 3. Adventure: Monkey Island 2 (funniest game I've ever played), Day of the Tentacle (2nd funniest game I've ever played), Grim Fandango (not as funny as the others, but has really good puzzles). RPG: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Deus Ex, Morrowind, Oblivion. Strategy: Rise of Nations, Company of Heroes.
