Hello everyone, I apologise for not coming her first. I've probably been a bit hasty and annoyed a some of the established members, but I apologise and I won't do it again. My name is Tony and you can probably guess what I'm up to - many new members are probably aspiring new writers, and I'm one of their number. Even though I've read a handful of short stories and novels, I'm no expert so I'll be learning all the way. As for genres, I prefer a mix of science fiction and super heroes.
Well Hello! Welcome aboard. Idk how long you've been around but I hope you've read the Rules. If not there's a tab at the top. And while your at it, you may as well check out the new "New Member Quick Start" which has much of the same info, but in a more fun and engaging layout. Anyway, glad to have you. I'm sure you'll find everything you're looking for, just participate, be nice, an have fun exploring. And hey, Sci-fi, super-hero is about where I am right now anyway. I must reluctantly admit it's probably due to the trend right now. Even so, I've always written about super characters so it's not too different I don't think.

Welcome. Some of the members are published writers, but most of us are, like you (and me) still in the "aspiring" category. I think of this as a very large study group, where we all are learning from one another. Enjoy!
NP, @minstrel! You mods get busy, so it's no trouble doing some of the meet and greet. This is a good way to think about it! I've learned so much here, and made some good friends too.
