    The Deterioration Of MapQuest.

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by SonnehLee, Jul 14, 2008.

Today, I'm trying to get directions for my sister to go to a concert, and I use mapquest. We use mapquest all the time. But lately, it's begun to suck. They've put in a bunch of new features (Send to cell, send to onstar, send to gps, add a stop, get gas prices, etc etc), and they took out one of my favorite features "Print Version" and you can't print off the webpage without a map, and three pages worth of ads. So, I try to copy it onto word. That did NOT work.

Now, I'm sure these features work wonderfully for those of us who have all that and know how to use it, but what about normal people who can't do that? Who don't have onstar or gps systems? Is it really that hard to put in a button so we can have adless directions?

Oh well. I guess I will just have to find a new direction site.

I gave up on MapQuest years ago. I switched to Expedia Maps, but now use Google Maps most frequently.
