2013 as if 85 minutes ago. Slightly drunk, but am glad 2012 is over with. A bad year, but one not worth talking about, as what is done is done. 2013 rolls off the tongue much more nicely. Hopefully all the conspiracy people can now go to sleep for a very long time too.

Was a really, really quiet NYE here. Hardly any fireworks or loud folk around, which in Australia, is odd.

Happy New Year for EST in 49 minutes! It's crazy to look back at all that 2012 held. A year I'll always remember because of my grad year. Here's to 2013! Can't wait to see what happens this year with open eyes. It goes by way too fast!
Now I'm sipping Champagne and waiting for midnight Central Time. Not sure if I'll make it through to Pacific Time, but feeling wide awake and happy. Twenty-twelve was a good year for me, but I expect even greater things from twenty-thirteen.

Happy New Year to all! 2012 was a stressful year for me (on top of other difficulties in years previously) that have damaged my motivation to write, so I'm hoping 2013 will finally be a bit calmer and allow me to revitalize my novel writing desire.
