This time I'm going to do things a little different. After I get 8-10 nominations, I'll make a poll so that people can vote more easily. This will also make it easier for me because I won't have to keep track of votes by going through the entire thread. Also, for the time being, each person should post only one nomination in this thread (if you post more than one, I'll just take the very first thing you nominate). This will hopefully give everyone who wants to participate a chance to nominate something. If I don't have enough suggestions within a week, I'll take more suggestions from those who have already nominated something. As usual, novels, short stories, poems, and plays are allowed.
Can someone please post a few nominations so we can get this thing going? Otherwise I'll just use some of the nominations from the past few months.

Whoa, dude, I don't know how I never saw this thread... I'll nominate A Midsummer Night's Dream. I kept trying to think of good April-y books that we could read...that seems fun.
How about some Chuck Palahniuk - any really, but perhaps a well-known one like Choke, or, obviously, Fight Club.
It might be fun to do Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese. It's the March book for the NPR Book Club, and you can post questions for the author to respond to on their facebook site.

I'd like to do PG Wodehouse or Chuck Palahniuk. Fight Club would be super cool, since I already have that book.
I was only here for the very first WF Book Club Novel (when we did American Gods), so I don't know how all this works anymore. [In case things have changed.] But I just recently bought the Jeeves & Wooster Series, and an P.G.Wodehouse Omnibus, and two volumes of a Japanese series by Katta Bun based on P.G. Wodehouse's Jeeves series, and I think that it would be fun to discuss the absolutely quirky characters in his stories. In other words: My vote is for Carry On, Jeeves.
Does anyone else have a preference? I would like to have a book chosen very soon so that people have time to get a copy.

From the number of votes, it looks like we'll be reading A Midsummer Night's Dream by Shakespeare for the month of April. Like I said before, it's easy to get a copy of it since it can be found online. By the way, make sure to keep your suggestions in mind for when we select a book for May.
