Im an Israeli in my early 20s, I have no literature expertise beyond high school diploma and doing research on Seminar papers for an unrelated degree. I am a huge Sci-fi nerd, specifically Star Trek and The Expanse. I plan on writing a Sci-fi book, with some details that I still work out on but I do got a premise and a sense of how the themes of the story will go. I hope I can learn from this forum and perhaps one day even educate myself
Greetings and welcome, Jony! I've recently joined this forum as well, and one of its MANY aspects that I have enjoyed is the diversity of the members: education, genres, experiences, advice, professional careers, etc., and that has helped me find out what kind of writer I would like to be and where my writing journey might be taking me. While I'm just figuring out how to write a fantasy fiction book, I'm learning from so many members through this forum, and that has reignited my passion and excitement to write - I hope you find that here as well! Take your time as you explore all of the opportunities this forum offers, and definitely reach out and ask questions. Have fun!
Hello Jonty, and welcome to WF.org! Apologies, my head is currently stuck in classical Japanese mode, so I may not make a lot of sense, but you'll find a lot of help for all genres here. We have a number of members who write cross-genre material, and I'm sure we can help you with any issues you may have, as well as writing issues. The best way to get the most out of this forum is to participate, so jump in with both feet!
Hello and welcome Jony, please make yourself at home. You'll find a lot of resources and support on this site. If you have a writing-related question, post a thread! Looking forward to seeing you in the forums!
