    Current Story: (0 Words)
Ready for you to start ;)

    How it Works:
    • The image above is the prompt for a new story we will write as a community.
      • The prompts will always be made using four random Story Cubes.
      • This prompt can be interpreted however you wish.
    • The story will be written in "chunks" of 100-500 words.
    • Anyone is allowed to continue the story by writing the next "chunk" except...
      • You may not post twice in a row.
      • You may not post twice in the same day.
      • Any posts with less than 100 or more than 500 words will be ignored.
    • This will be on a first-come first-serve basis. If two people post a continuation of the same section, only the first one will be taken into the story.
    • I will update the original post with the current version of the story to the best of my ability so people don't have to read it through the thread.
      • I still recommend doing your due diligence to see if the post or two above you have yet to be implemented.
    • The story ends when a post is made putting the word count at 5,000+.
    • Try to avoid having discussion in this thread until after the story is completed.
    • Remember that this is all for fun! Someone might take the story in a direction you didn't intend or even want, but that's part of the game! Try not to let the chaotic nature of the Round Robin get you down!
    • When this story ends I'll start a new thread with a new prompt!

Generally speaking, it is best to think of this experience as improv, so we will follow these "Rules of Improv":
    1. Say “yes’and!”
    2. Add new information.
    3. Don’t block.
    4. Avoid asking questions- unless you’re also adding information.
    5. Play in the present and use the moment.
    6. Establish the location.
    7. Be specific and provide colorful details.
    8. Change, Change, Change!
    9. For serious and emotional scenes, focus on characters and relationships.
    10. For humorous scenes, take choices to the nth degree or focus on actions/objects.
